OneDay Core

The heart of the OneDay 2.0 modpack. Sun and Moon ores, Eclipse gear that changes with the time of day, a six-core endgame ritual, legend titles, boss trophies, a server Hall of Fame, daily bounties and fair friendly-fire controls for playing together.

OneDay Core was made for the OneDay 2.0 modpack. It also runs on its own, but some recipes (the six cores, the gateways and the dragon eggs) only show up when the matching mods are installed. See Integrations below.

☀ Sun and Moon Ores

• Solarium: found high up in mountain biomes. Glows like the midday sun.
• Lunarium: found deep down in the deepslate. Cold as moonlight.
• Smelt or blast them into ingots. Ore processing for Create, Immersive Engineering and Mekanism is included.
• Solarium + Lunarium + Netherite Scrap → 2 Eclipse Ingots, Sun and Moon forged into one.
• Keep an eye out for the Sundial Shrine, a small shrine in the mountains with loot inside.

🌗 Eclipse Gear: it changes with the time of day

Upgrade your diamond gear with an Eclipse Ingot and the Eclipse Smithing Template. Every piece has a ☀ Sun side and a ☾ Moon side.

Sun means daytime under an open sky. Night, storms, the Nether, the End and other dark dimensions count as Moon.

⭐ The OneDay Star: the final goal

Forge six Cores, each one made from the best materials of a different part of the pack:

• Tech Core: every machine you ever built
• Arcane Core: every spell, spirit and ritual, bound together
• Terraria Core: a piece of the Otherworld itself
• Warrior Core: forged from the trophies of mighty bosses
• Explorer Core: dust of a dozen worlds
• Life Core: the warmth of home, food and good friends

Place all six on the Star Altar, use a Nether Star and watch the ritual forge the OneDay Star. Every core also grants a title.

🏅 Titles and Legends

• Earn titles that are shown under your name for everyone to see.
• When you earn a title you get [Accept] / [Decline] in chat. Declined titles stay in your collection, and you can switch titles at any time in the OneDay menu.
• Finish everything and become a ✦ OneDay Legend ✦. The whole server gets told.
• For modpack makers: titles can be handed out from quest rewards with /oneday title offer <player> <id> or /oneday title grant <player> <id>. Any a-z0-9_ id works, and the name comes from the lang key oneday.title.<id>.

🏆 Boss Trophies and the Hall of Fame

• When a boss dies, every player nearby gets its Boss Trophy, a placeable statue of that boss. It works with every boss in the c:bosses tag plus a built-in list of 18 vanilla and modded bosses.
• The first player on the server to defeat each boss is written into the Hall of Fame forever: /oneday halloffame.

📜 Bounty Board

• New bounties every Minecraft day for every player: slay monsters and bosses or deliver resources.
• Four difficulty tiers with rewards in coins, XP and items, from 16 iron ingots up to the Wither.
• About 60 bounties are included, and everything is data driven. Add your own in data/<namespace>/oneday_bounties/*.json.

💰 Economy

• Exchange Counter: swap Emeralds and Confluence Silver Coins 1:1 (the Overworld and Otherworld currencies).
• Savings Pig: drop your coins and emeralds in to save them. Sneak and use it with an empty hand to shake it empty. Oink!

🤝 Friendly Fire and Temporary Allies

• Friendly fire is your own choice. Everyone decides whether teammates and allies can hurt them. There is a 5-minute cooldown between switches, so nobody can abuse it mid-fight.
• Temporary allies for boss fights or trips with friends outside your team: /oneday ally invite <player> [minutes]. The other player gets clickable [Accept] / [Decline] buttons.
• Works with FTB Teams.

🌞 The OneDay Menu

Press \ (backslash, can be changed in Controls) to open the OneDay menu. Pick your title, switch friendly fire and see your allies, all in one screen.

🧸 Oney

Meet Oney, the OneDay mascot: half sun, half moon, all love. Place the plush as decoration, or right-click in the air to wear it as a hat.

• Default and maximum length of a temporary alliance (30 / 180 min)
