Description

One Big Eye is a mod that adds two new fantasy mobs, inhabiting a wide range of habitats and bringing several new items. Encounter powerful foes and make even stronger allies!
Mobs
From one to two and possibly more, the mobs of One Big Eye are more than just optic orbs. Be it monster hunter or beast tamer, there are several ways to interact with these strange creatures. Every mob has been wonderfully animated by The Indominator.
List of mobs:

- The Mylops is a neutral mob that spawns in Forests of all varieties. They prefer to keep to themselves, and even the slightest touch of an intruding player will send them into a blinding rage. Enraged Mylopes will target any creature around them, but can be calmed with food. Feeding them a particular delicacy can permanently pacify them. Pacified Mylopes can be tempted with Spingleberry Jam and Pie. The Mylops is inspired by concept art from the artist Ninni.
- The Spingleberry Dragon is a passive mob that spawns in Swamps and Mangrove Swamps. While they prefer the sky, Dragons can be tempted with Spingleberries and brought closer to the ground. When fed eight berries, they enter their engorged state and can be milked for Spingleberry Jam. Spingleberry Dragons can be bred with Spingleberry Pie. The Spingleberry Dragon was made in collaboration with the artist Psalidodont.
Items
The mobs feature several unique items that can be obtained by slaying or befriending them. From new foods to gear, there are many ways to interact with these fantastical creatures.
List of items:
- When a Mylops kills another mob, it leaves some Mylops Fur behind. The fur can be brewed into potions of Rampage, but it can also be crafted into the Mylopsian Cap.
- Rarely, a Mylops will drop a Mylops Eye when slain. It can be used with some Mylops Fur to craft the Mylopsian Cap.
- Using one stick and two Mylops Bones will yield the Mylopsian Sword. While comparable to an iron sword, swings from this blade occasionally inflict the Rampage effect on its user if they're wearing the Mylopsian Cap.
- Using one Mylops Eye and four Mylops fur will yield the Mylopsian Cap. Although it's not much tougher than an iron helmet, wearing it will prevent Mylopes from becoming enraged. Any pacified Mylopes will follow those who don this Cap.
- Brewing some Mylops Fur in a brewing stand will create a potion of Rampage. Mobs afflicted with Rampage will gain increased strength, knockback, and attack speed, but will occasionally harm themselves.
- Spingleberries can be found growing in Swamps. Like other bushes, they can be right-clicked for their fruit and will regrow. Any mob that walks through will be inflicted with poison, except for the Spingleberry Dragon.
- Feeding a Spingleberry Dragon eight Spingleberries and right-clicking it with a bottle will yield some Spingleberry Jam. While not much better than honey bottles, it can be used to craft Spingleberry Pie and to pacify Mylopes.
- Using one Spingleberry, one jar of Spingleberry Jam, one egg, and sugar will yield some Spingleberry Pie. This decedent desert can be used to breed Spingleberry Dragons, to heal pacified Mylopes, or simply enjoyed.
