OmniPots 3.0 is a major update focused on mod compatibility, smarter crop handling, improved visuals, automation, and quality-of-life improvements.
✨ New & Improved
- Added improved compatibility with Mystical Agriculture, including dynamically detected crops and Crux crops.
- Added GrowableOres compatibility.
- Added compatibility for Nether trees/fungi, including Warped and Crimson fungi.
- Added Pipez support for extracting generated items from OmniPots.
- Added support for additional soil types, including Insanium Farmland.
- Improved compatibility with custom and modded crops.
- Improved crop and sapling visuals inside OmniPots.
- Crops now visually grow through multiple stages instead of always appearing fully grown.
- Improved the OmniPot inventory/item icon.
- Improved JEI information for crops, soils, water requirements, and supported combinations.
🌱 Smarter Crop & Soil Handling
- OmniPots now better detect the actual requirements of vanilla and modded crops.
- Crop insertion now validates both the required soil and water state.
- Crops that don't require water can no longer be planted in invalid soil + water combinations.
- Improved support for cane-type GrowableOres crops requiring water.
- Soil can now be removed and replaced while the OmniPot is empty, including when water is present.
- Improved dynamic handling of seed drops for crop mods.
- JEI output information now better matches the items crops can actually produce.
💧 Water Improvements
- Fixed water bucket interaction issues that could cause water duplication.
- Improved validation of crops that require water.
- Water can no longer be removed when doing so would leave an actively planted crop in an invalid state.
- Improved soil + water recipe consistency.
📦 Storage & Automation
- Improved output handling when connected storage is full or partially full.
- OmniPots no longer throw excess generated items onto the ground.
- Removed unwanted accumulation of hidden output stock.
- Outputs that can fit into connected storage can still be inserted independently from outputs that cannot.
- Improved behavior with partially filled inventories.
- Improved direct item extraction for automation mods such as Pipez.
- Added additional safeguards against item loss and duplication.
⚙️ New Configuration Options
- Added an option to enable/disable Seed Drops.
- Added a separate option to enable/disable Sapling Drops.
- Both options can be controlled independently.
🌳 Tree Improvements
- Improved Jungle tree drops.
- Improved Crimson/Nether tree drops.
- Added missing vine-related drops where appropriate.
- Improved rendering and scaling of saplings, fungi, and other large plants inside OmniPots.
🎨 Visual & Shader Improvements
- Improved crop rendering and growth-stage visuals.
- Improved scaling for large crops, saplings, fungi, and fallback crop models.
- Fixed an OmniPot item overlay rendering issue affecting shader setups.
- Improved overall plant presentation inside the pot.
🐛 Fixes
- Fixed excess outputs being dropped outside the OmniPot when connected storage was full.
- Fixed several partial-inventory output edge cases.
- Fixed water duplication behavior.
- Fixed incorrect crop/soil/water combinations being accepted.
- Fixed GrowableOres cane soil/water validation.
- Fixed mismatches between some modded crop seed drops and their displayed recipes.
- Fixed soil replacement behavior in empty watered OmniPots.
- Fixed several compatibility and rendering edge cases.
