omlib-4.0.0-beta.2-mc1.12.2-forge.jar
Curse Maven Snippet
What's new
Added
- For mod developers: tile entity base
tileentity.TileEntitySynced(data hooksreadData/writeData, separate client datawriteClientData, syncToClient, remesh; from OpenModularLighting);TileEntityBasenow builds on it and behaves as before - For mod developers:
container.WindowValuessyncs int values of a container to its GUI as window properties (two 16-bit halves each) - For mod developers:
util.inventory.InvUtil.dropItemsspills an inventory when its block breaks, inventory.AutomationItemHandleris the hopper/pipe view of a machine's slots (insert what the slots accept, extract by a rule) - The server sends its OMLib config values (
omlib.cfg, e.g. OP access and offline mode support) to clients when they join, so GUIs show the server's rules; after leaving, the client uses its own config again - Right-clicking an owned block without an owner (turret base, turret, camouflage trap, hardened block/wall/fence) claims it and the unowned blocks connected to it (up to
claimSpreadLimit, default 1024); machines' fake players only claim iffakePlayersCanClaimis set (as on 1.20.1+) - Ownership Wand (creative, operators only) for mapmakers: right-click makes you the owner of an owned block, sneak-right-click removes its owner; it spreads to the connected blocks of the same owner unless switched off with a sneak-right-click into the air (as on 1.20.1+)
- The owner of a camouflage trap can disown it from its camouflage menu after a confirmation; the trust list is cleared and anyone can claim it
- For mod developers:
api.permission.IOwnedHost(owner, claim, clear; implemented byTileEntityOwnedBlock),handler.ClaimSpread,block.UnownedMarker(green sparkle on unowned blocks),api.block.IPlainLookingBlock(blocks with a tile entity that may still be a disguise) andIDrawOutline.canPlacewith the player
Changed
- The jar files are named
omlib-<version>-mc1.12.2-forge.jar(Minecraft version withmc, as on 1.20.1+) - Owned blocks without an owner no longer count as owned by a placeholder player; they stay unowned until someone claims them
Removed
- For mod developers: the tile entity base classes
TileEntityElectric,TileEntityContainerElectric,TileEntityMachine,TileEntityTrustedMachineandTileEntityContainer; tile entities hold the helperspower.EnergyCapabilitiesandtileentity.InventoryNbtinstead (same NBT keys)
Fixed
- Loading a world kept the owner share lists (
/omlib share) of the world opened before it in the same game - A renamed player (or, in offline mode, a player with another UUID) could be missed in lookups of players and trusted players: their hash ignored how they are compared
- Clients could make the server load or generate chunks anywhere by sending trust list, camouflage or GUI messages for far-away positions; these messages now need the block loaded and the player within reach
- Players without access to a block could receive its updates (trust list, settings) by sending its GUI-open message
- Changes in OMLib's config GUI were only applied after a restart
- The debug tool crashed a dedicated server when used on a turret base
- Items dropped from a broken machine lost data other mods keep on the item stack (capabilities)
- Camouflaged blocks could create their tile entity on the chunk render thread (block model, block colour), which can crash or corrupt the world; for mod developers:
WorldUtil.getTileEntity(IBlockAccess, BlockPos)looks up a tile entity without creating it
