Worms can be occasionally obtained by mining grass exposed to rain or by trading
Worms can be put into dirt blocks (those which can convert into mud) to make Worm Soil
Worm Soil can hold up to three worms
Worm Soil can populate itself, fertilize nearby crops and spread to nearby dirt type blocks, more effectively with more worms
Worms can be removed from Worm Soil with sugar, through hoppers or by destroying the block
Worm Soil's amount of worms can be detected by comparitors
As an emergency food, worms can be used, although with potential negative consequences
Bonemeal and the new Leaf Litter blocks- crafted from leaves- can help make Worm Soil more effective
