Oblivion Blockform

Oblivion Blockform is a building-focused Minecraft mod for Minecraft 1.21.1 using NeoForge that gives you much more freedom when decorating and shaping your builds.

Instead of being limited to using one full block in each block space, Blockform lets you use smaller block pieces and different materials together in the same space.

This makes it possible to create details that normally would not fit inside Minecraft’s standard block grid.

What can you build with it?

Oblivion Blockform currently includes several custom building shapes:

• Quarter Blocks — divide a full block into smaller vertical sections.
• Quarter Slabs — smaller pieces made by dividing a normal slab into four sections.
• Quarter-Height Slabs — thin horizontal layers that are one quarter of a block tall.
• Sideways Stairs — full-height stair-shaped blocks that face sideways instead of behaving like normal Minecraft stairs.

These pieces can be combined with different materials inside the same block space.

For example, you can place a wooden Sideways Stair and fill the empty part of the block with Stone, Bricks, Quartz, or another supported material.

You can also create mixed-material slabs, layered blocks, decorative trim, unusual walls, detailed floors, furniture, and many other shapes that are difficult or impossible to make with normal Minecraft blocks.

Mix Different Materials

One of the main features of Blockform is the ability to combine materials together.

You could make combinations such as:

• Oak and Stone
• Bricks and Quartz
• Glass and Wood
• Copper and Stone
• different wood types
• different slab materials
• layered blocks using several materials
• Sideways Stairs with a different material filling the missing section

Each piece remains its own part of the build, so you can create a large number of combinations without needing a separate block for every possible design.

Sideways Stairs

Blockform includes Sideways Stairs, allowing stairs to be placed in orientations that vanilla Minecraft does not normally support.

Because they work together with Blockform pieces, the empty section of a Sideways Stair can also be filled with another material.

For example:

can occupy the same block space.

This makes Sideways Stairs especially useful for detailed walls, beams, supports, furniture, decorative framing, and custom architectural shapes.

Quarter Slabs

Quarter Slabs let you split a normal slab into four smaller pieces.

This allows you to create slabs using multiple materials instead of being limited to one material across the entire slab.

You can use them in the bottom or top half of a block space and combine them with other compatible pieces.

Quarter-Height Slabs

Quarter-Height Slabs are thin horizontal layers.

Four of them stacked together fill the height of a normal block.

This allows you to create layered blocks with different materials, such as:

• Stone on the bottom
• Bricks above it
• Wood above that
• Quartz on top

They can also be used for floors, trim, platforms, steps, and other decorative details.

Survival Friendly

Blockform is not limited to Creative Mode.

The custom pieces have crafting recipes so they can be used normally in survival worlds.

Many pieces can also be crafted back into larger forms, allowing you to convert materials between normal blocks and Blockform pieces without unnecessarily wasting materials.

Copper Support

Copper Blockform pieces support Minecraft’s Copper features, including oxidation and waxing where applicable.

This means Copper builds can continue to age and change similarly to normal vanilla Copper blocks.

Waterlogging

Supported Blockform pieces can be waterlogged, making them useful for underwater builds, fountains, docks, waterways, decorative pools, and other builds involving water.

Dedicated Creative Tab

All Blockform items can be found inside their own Oblivion Blockform Creative Mode tab.

This keeps the custom pieces together and makes it much easier to browse the available materials and shapes.
