ObeseCat

ObeseCat is a silly Minecraft mod built around one very important scientific question: what if a huge orange-and-white cat named Fat Man could be fed increasingly questionable nuclear cat food, then handed a series of increasingly irresponsible bark-powered weapons?

This mod adds Fat Man, a custom oversized cat, plus strange snacks, Paco-based weaponry, cursed utility items, weird loot, villager trades, and one extremely unnecessary toilet.

Features

  • Fat Man, a passive oversized orange-and-white cat
  • Obese Cat Spawn Egg
  • Plutonium Cat Food
  • Lithium Deuteride Cat Food
  • Paco, a bark-only chihuahua item
  • Paco variants with knockback, damage, fire, and explosive effects
  • Atomic Paco and J. Paco Barkkenheimer for maximum bad decisions
  • Night Vision Mr. Kitty, a wearable/usable utility item with the caption “He Sees Everything”
  • Mr. Kitty’s Paws, because apparently cats can land on their feet and so can you
  • Tiny Planet, Ember Singularity, Wormhole Ember, and Enigma Ember
  • Boom Stick, Fire Stick, Fire Boom Stick, and BIG Fire Boom Stick developer tools
  • Atomic Fire effect
  • Villager trades, loot chest integration, and other ways to stumble into chaos
  • An extremely unnecessary toilet, because the mod has standards and also no standards

Item Obtainment Guide

If you want to know how to get the stuff instead of just admiring it in creative mode, here’s the breakdown:

Villager Trades

These items are available from Farmer villagers:

  • Fat Man Spawn Egg
  • Plutonium Cat Food
  • Paco
  • Ember
  • Mr. Kitty

These items are available from Manhattan Physicists found in Manhattan Bunkers:

  • Hellhound Paco
  • Oppenheimer’s Hat

Loot Chests

These items can be found in loot:

  • Toilet - Simple Dungeon chests
  • Mr. Kitty’s Paws - Simple Dungeon chests
  • Night Vision Mr. Kitty - Bastion chests
  • Lithium Deuteride Cat Food - End City Treasure chests
  • Wormhole Ember - End City Treasure chests
  • Enigma Ember - End City Treasure chests

Crafting

These items are crafted from other ObeseCat items and vanilla ingredients:

  • Concussive Paco - Paco + Piston
  • Attack Paco - Concussive Paco + Diamond
  • Assault Paco - Attack Paco + Nether Star
  • Sniper Paco - Assault Paco + Nether Star + Spyglass
  • Atomic Paco - Hellhound Paco + Plutonium Cat Food
  • J. Paco Barkkenheimer - Atomic Paco + Oppenheimer’s Hat
  • Tiny Planet - Mr. Kitty + Nether Star
  • Ember Singularity - Ember + Eyes of Ender

Special / Derived

These come from specific mod interactions rather than normal crafting or trading:

  • Trinitite - created when Fat Man detonates from Lithium Deuteride Cat Food
  • Manhattan Bunker - generated world structure
  • Manhattan Physicist - spawns inside the bunker structure and handles the special trades

Creative / Developer Tools

These are mainly for testing, debugging, or chaos:

  • Boom Stick
  • Fire Stick
  • Fire Boom Stick
  • BIG Fire Boom Stick

Notes

This mod is intentionally ridiculous. Some items are balanced for survival progression, while others are clearly creative-mode tools or developer-style chaos.

The rule of thumb is simple:

  • If it looks useful, it probably is
  • If it looks dangerous, it absolutely is
  • If it looks like a joke, it might still delete a landscape

Use the explosive items carefully unless you are emotionally prepared to explain a crater to everyone on the server.

Compatibility

Built for:

  • Minecraft 1.21.1
  • NeoForge 21.1.228

Designed to work as a standalone NeoForge mod.
