NOTE: THIS MOD IS UNDER HEAVY DEVELOPMENT, AND IT MAY CORRUPT YOUR WORLD. MAKE SURE TO TAKE REGULAR BACKUPS OF YOUR WORLD! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.
Nuclear Physics is a mod that brings in realistic, world-based physics into Minecraft. Always though electricity generation is a burden? That's why we are here to bring you nuclear power to solve all your problems. With our fission reactor, fusion reactor, you won't be lacking electricity ever again!
Fission Reactor
Fission Reactors can be used to generate high levels of electricity, but are extremely dangerous. If handled improperly, they will go into meltdown, infecting the land around it with toxic waste and causing radiation poisoning to those without suiting protection.
Fusion Reactor
Instead of splitting atoms to free energy, a Fusion Reactor fuses atoms together to form a heavier one, releasing energy in the process. The Fusion Reactor requires Plasma, which is obtained by heating deuterium and tritium in a Plasma Heater. Deuterium and Tritium is produced by the Chemical Extractor.
Particle Accelerator
The Particle Accelerator will accelerate a particle in a ring of Electromagnets to a very high speed. Particle Accelerators are necessary to produce Antimatter. It can also create Dark Matter by colliding particles from two different Particle Accelerators.
Requirements
- In order for all recipes to be available, a mod adding copper, tin and bronze ingots is required.
- A mod implementing Forge Energy compatible cables.
Mekanism can be used as it solves both.
The mod will not crash without, but will not be completely functional.
Documentation
There is no wiki yet. But this mod is very similar to the old Atomic Science mod by Calclaiva, so http://wiki.technicpack.net/Atomic_Science is most accurate, and may in most cases be used.
There is no other documentation for recipes just yet, please use Just Enough Items for this.

Permission
This mod is a remake of the now outdated Atomic Science mod by Calclavia. (Later merged into Resonant Induction which later was renamed to Electrodynamics).
License is compatible with Calclavia's original mods, and can be found here: https://github.com/calclavia/Electrodynamics/blob/master/LICENSE.txt
Permission to use in Modpacks?
You can use this mod in both public and private modpacks.
Hi, a question, will there be 1.16.5+? pls.
may i just say this, atomic science is just as outdated as this is. latest file here is oct 4. latest file on atomic science is oct 1. and atomic science may have been merged into resonant induction, but atomic science was continued by one of the other devs, therefore the permission section is wrong.
what happened to the 1.7.10 version of this mod?
In reply to Forge_User_40123673:
It's on GitHub. Here.
Is this still in development? I love this mod (and the original Atomic Science) and I'd be sad to see it die.
hey man, is this dead?
In reply to Forge_User_20344232:
No, halvors is still working on it. He's just been extremely busy and he's the only one actively working on this mod.
In reply to inevitable_judgement:
ah, sad. Atomic Science is buggy and incompletely ported, and this one here is bugged. Uranium hexafluoride takes forever to make from yellowcake, like, an actual hour
In reply to Forge_User_20344232:
Honestly ivan, my personal recommendation would be to pair this mod with Nuclearcraft.
In reply to inevitable_judgement:
I checked that mod out and it was way too complex than i was looking of. This mod's style of building looks much cooler to me.
By the way, fusion reactors seem completely broken too. I power a plasma heater, put deuterium and tritium in it, and it gets active and starts making plasma, but doesnt output it anywhere. I tried pulling it with a fluiduct and a servo to no avail. Any advice?
In reply to Forge_User_20344232:
It's a known bug with the mod. From my testing, I was only able to get a fusion reactor working somewhat once, for like about a minute and then it just "fell apart".
In reply to inevitable_judgement:
are fusion reactors broken in all versions? I've tried using the older ones but i'm having the same problem
In reply to Forge_User_20344232:
As far as I know yes.
In reply to Forge_User_20344232:
hey bro! try Phisica mod
In reply to teksturepako:
its called nuclear science now
So I've just made a Particle Accelerator, and I have a few problems.
1. There's no way to put empty cells into the accelerator. The only way it accepts them is as generic matter to accelerate.
2. After a few seconds, the particle will explode in a burst of radiation without accelerating beyond 2%. Is there something I'm missing or is this a bug? I know it isn't a lack of power as I've tested with a TE Creative Energy Cell.
In reply to rustingwithyou:
What are you trying to make, Dark Matter or AntiMatter?
Howdy! I know this hosted on Curse Forge, but I can't find it in the twitch mod browser.
In reply to Ziddim:
this is really the same as atomic science very the same...
