Nuclear Atomics includes features that surround the theme of nuclear; some highlights include:
- Uranium Armor
- Uranium tools & weapons
- New custom ores that can be found in the overworld
- A unique "nuclear reactor" for processing uranium
- A special sword with custom ability
- New decoration blocks
These features might not be a lot, but the small addons can sometimes bring players out of ordinary Minecraft gameplay.

The mod can sometimes have a few bugs, including the villager profession not working and some textures not loading. The developer is currently resolving these issues.
Bug fixes:
- trades that are originally from Nuclear Engineer has now been move to Toolsmith.
