Description
The Nox Mod adds new armor and tools, as well as an entirely new biome featuring new resources and a new type of tree.
But the burning question remains: where did the biome and its ores come from? And, above all, why does the tree sprout from the ground when there is no sapling to plant it?
Could this biome have come from somewhere else?
We will never know.
What is Mod Nox?
The Nox Mod focuses on exploring an entirely new biome, featuring trees with unique growth properties.
Saplings? There aren't any—the trees emerge directly from the ground, and each one can only be harvested for wood a single time. So, be careful not to clear-cut the entire area; these trees are not an infinite resource!
The mod also introduces new tools and ores for you to use.
These include:
Nox Fragment Une Ingot Tenge Ingot Gaery and Ocular Geode
Beyond these, more ores will be added in the future. That’s right—it won’t be limited to just these five; I plan to introduce five additional ores and various new items as the mod continues to develop.
The current selection of items in the Nox Mod is limited, but I plan to add more through future updates leading up to the official release.
Since there are very few crafting recipes, I’ve listed them here:
Tools and Armors
Nox Tools and Armor

Tenge Tools and Armor

Une's Tools and Armor

Nox Wooden Tools

Nox Stone Tools

New Foods
The new foods are distinct from one another; some may provide specific effects, while others might have both negative and positive outcomes. This is just the basics, though—I plan to add more foods over time. For now, we have:
Stadey Apple
Belladonna Stew
Raw Soul Meat
Roasted Soul Meat
Berry Bread
Stadeyberry Bread
and
Randg Piece
These are the only food types available for now, but more will be added in the future...

New Items
As I mentioned earlier, the mod features new items—though the list of recipes is currently limited. The items included are:
Une Bar
Nox Core
Stone Pot
Une Grate
Hammer
and
Air Essence
Future updates will bring many more items.

New Ores
There are five new ores in total, which can be found in both the new biome and standard (vanilla) Minecraft biomes.
Depending on the ore you need, you will have to search anywhere from Y-level 24 down to -64; indeed, some of these ores only spawn near the lowest layer. So, what are these ores? They are:
Nox Ore - Encounter Layer 16 -44
Une Ore - Encounter Layer -30 -20
Tenge Ore - Encounter Layer -30 -50
Gaery Ore - Encounter Layer -20 -64
and
Eye Geode Ore (even though it isn't technically an ore, it functions as one) - Encounter Layer -30 -55.
These are the available ores for now, but I plan to add more ores and new recipes for them.

About the New Biome
The new biome, known as the "Nox Biome," can be encountered while exploring the Minecraft world. You might find the presence of trees in the water—or even floating—a bit strange; this is an inherent effect of the biome itself. It contains "Noxis" particles that can manipulate the environment, causing trees to sprout—not from saplings, but directly from the fertile soil of the Nox realm—appearing in places where they otherwise wouldn't naturally grow, almost like a virus...
...It is unknown where or when this biome appeared; all that is known is that it simply emerged at some point, followed by others like it. Wandering villagers witnessed these phenomena and recorded what they knew, hoping that someday someone would buy their records and want to explore the Strange Biome.

Is the mod translated?
Yes, for the time being, the mod has been translated into:
Portuguese - Brazil
English - United States
and
Spanish - Spain
There might be some minor errors in the English or Spanish translations, as I am Brazilian and am the one creating this mod—but if you spot any mistakes, please let me know!
There are a few other languages I’d like to add to make the mod more accessible, but I’ll need to take some Duolingo lessons first. These include:
French
Canadian
Latin American Spanish (all variants)
and
Mexican Spanish
Since that will take quite a while, for now, only the languages mentioned above are available.
Credits and Future
I’d like to mention that I’m creating this mod as a passion project. If you’d like to help me improve it, please let me know about any errors, bugs, or crashes you encounter—I’ll do my best to get everything fixed!
The future is still a bit uncertain; the version I’m sharing now is a beta—far from a final release. In the meantime, you can use this beta to tell me what needs improvement or what I should add (my own creative spark is a bit limited!).
There’s more to come, too! I plan to add new ores, items, armor, and tools—and, most importantly, a fully-fledged dimension. That will take quite a while, though, so please be patient until the final release is ready. Along the way, I’ll also be learning how to create mobs!
