NLV is an Immersive Vehicles pack with no particular focus on any one type of vehicle.

Although currently not many things are implemented, as time goes on, this pack will get a wide variety of vehicles and other things. A special focus is put on making the vehicles actually practical and useful in survival mode.

What started this pack is that I noticed the fact that IV and modded Minecraft as a whole has a severe lack of ships. From there it just expanded. I will add whatever I think would be cool to have.

READ THIS BEFORE YOU INSTALL THIS PACK

This pack does not add its own seats. You will need another pack to have seats. If you don't install one, you will not be able to use anything except for the Small Hot Air Balloon. At some point, I will add seats of my own to make this pack usable standalone. Currently implemented vehicles include:

Small Cargo Ship

As you can probably imagine, this vehicle is good for transporting good quantities of items over sea. It comes with a customizable callsign. It's length is more than 20 blocks.

The containers on this thing are modular. They come in multiple colors, can be set to display an image from a URL using the wrench, and you can choose to put either one large or two small containers. They are based off of the real 20 and 40 foot containers commonly used in logistics.

Small Hot Air Balloon

This vehicle is not very good for cargo transport, but it's great for travel and exploration. Although it's slow, you don't have to deal with obstacles like mountains, rivers, forests, and swamps, or mobs at night. It's also relatively cheap. As it's small, only one player can fly in it at a time. Larger variants will be added in the future.

Dinghy

Small wooden sailboat. It comes with a customizable sail and is very cheap. Unfortunately due to the limitations of Immersive Vehicles, you need to shift the gear from neutral to 1 (or reverse if you want to), and it uses fuel. I set it to use a custom fuel type called "nothing"; I recommend going into the mod's config and adding water to the valid fluids of this fuel type.

WORK IN PROGRESS - Large Cargo Ship

I don't really have the motivation to continue working on the model of this as it's quite big and extensive. But at some point in the future I'll probably finish it and upload it. Once it's done, this vehicle will be used to efficiently move huge quantities of items and liquids over sea, while also being able to transport multiple players, due to its impressive size of more than 60 blocks of length.

Furthermore, this pack also comes with various parts like ship engines that are required to use these vehicles.

Plans for the future include:

- Medium Cargo Ship, to fill the gap between the small and large one

- Various military ships, a speedboat, and a jet ski

- Ancient and medieval sailships, both for cargo and military uses; these will be worse than their modern counterparts, but also cheaper, using mostly a bunch of wood

- Medium and Large Hot Air Balloons, these will be able to carry more than one player, as well as some additional cargo in the form of crates

- Bomb racks you can mount on hot air balloons for raiding NPC structures, or other players on a multiplayer server

- Various sizes and types of airships
