NourishZ is a fork of NutritionZ created for the Rooted modpack.
It reworks the original nutrition system into three categories:
Heartiness for filling, substantial meals Vitality for freshness and overall wellness Energy for stamina and physical momentum Instead of a scientific nutrition model, NourishZ is built around a more natural food rhythm. Nutrients decay slowly, strong food balance grants light buffs, and critically low categories no longer apply annoying debuffs directly. Instead, they make the normal Minecraft hunger bar drain much faster, encouraging players to think about what they eat without constantly interrupting gameplay.
NourishZ also includes a satiety lock for high-saturation meals to reduce food spam, plus built-in compatibility data for several food mods. Food values can still be customized through JSON data files for modpack balancing.
