Write, style, sign, and share

• Single-page notes with a dedicated writing interface.
• Rich-text editing with 16 colors and five text styles.
• Signing with a title and server-assigned author; signed notes are read-only.
• Turn the first stored page of a Book and Quill or Written Book into a note with sneak + right-click.
• Place notes on lecterns to read them, then sneak + right-click to retrieve them.
• Paper visuals on lecterns and item textures that reflect note fullness and signing.

Toolbar controls

• Personal commands: /notestoolbar on, off, and auto.
• Administrator commands: /notesmod toolbar all on and off.
• Personal preferences persist on the client; the shared override persists in the world.
• The default toolbar visibility follows the presence of Scholar on the client.
• Updated toolbar artwork and a standard Minecraft button click sound.

Fixes and polish

• Updated lectern data synchronization to address stale note visuals when placing regular books. Manual in-game verification is still required before release.
• Preserve supported legacy and vanilla component formatting when importing book pages.
• English and Russian interface translations.

Requirements and compatibility

• Minecraft 1.20.1, Forge, Java 17. Build target: Forge 47.4.13.
• Install Notes Mod on both the client and server. Scholar is optional.
• Network protocol is 4: older clients or servers using previous protocol versions must be updated together.

Build and automated formatting regressions passed. These checks are not a substitute for visual, dedicated-server, and multiplayer testing.
