You hold an axe, break one log, and the connected tree falls over the next few ticks. Sneak to activate, or bind a key if you prefer. Pick how many logs fall at once, 64, 128, 256, or 512, and tune tool wear, fell speed, and mining effort to taste. Outlines show exactly which logs are selected before you commit the swing. A log cabin counts as connected logs: chop it and it comes down, which is either a feature or a warning depending on your day. Server owners can pin any option through config, and clients see the locked controls greyed out instead of guessing why nothing works. Install on both sides, keep versions matched, and the server validates every chop regardless of what a client claims.
