No Structure Overlap
About
No Structure Overlap is a lightweight performance mod that fixes structure collision chaos when playing with multiple structure mods or datapacks. Without this mod, custom dungeons, castles, and vanilla structures often generate directly inside one another, cutting off rooms, clipping terrain, and destroying loot chests.
The mod dynamically checks structure bounds during world generation and cancels placement if two different structures try to spawn on top of each other. It includes smart filtering for multi-part structures like villages, mineshafts, and jigsaw-based mod structures, allowing them to expand normally without getting chopped up. All collision checks are handled instantly in memory, ensuring zero TPS drops or server lag.
Notes
Built with Architectury, this mod supports both Fabric and NeoForge natively for Minecraft 1.21.1+ and Java 21+. It requires no complex configuration and works out of the box with any structure mod or datapack.
You are completely free to include this mod in any public or private modpack. If you run into any issues or notice an edge-case structure collision, please report it via the issue tracker link above.
