No Killer Requirement
In vanilla Minecraft, whether a mob drops its loot — and whether it drops experience — depends on a hidden condition: the mob must have been damaged by a player shortly before it died. That means a perfectly good kill can be wasted: a creeper that burns up in the sun, a zombie that falls off a cliff, a skeleton that drowns, or a mob finished off by /kill can drop nothing at all, even while you stand right next to it.
No Killer Requirement removes that restriction. With this mod, mobs always drop their loot and experience no matter how they die, as long as a player is nearby. If no player recently damaged the mob, the nearest player is automatically treated as the killer — so drops and XP behave exactly as if you landed the final blow.
