Description

A No Name Provided mod

TLDR

You know how you can have a water block with other things (stairs, slabs, etc.) in it? Now you can do that with any fluid. This mod is now feature complete.

About This Mod

Have you ever wondered why you can't pour lava into some stone stairs? Or use that nice looking modded fluid to add a pretty channel to your road? Well, I won't bore you with the answer. Long story short, this is a basic, "naive" approach to jailbreaking the vanilla fluidlogging system. These early releases are intended to get the ball rolling and give other devs something to contribute to, but the mod is ready for usage by map makers and regular players who aren't worried about a little jank.

If you're interested in fluid logging, but intimidated by the idea of making a mod from scratch, consider taking a look at the repo and contributing performance and/or bug fixes.

More Info

This mod is compatible with most fluids out-of-the-gate. Don't worry, it has a configurable blacklist.

This mod uses many mixins. This means it's more likely to conflict with other mods. If there's a mixin error in your log, it's a cross-mod compat issue and should be reported to both developers. In the meantime, you can resolve the issue by removing one of the conflicting mods.

There is a working release for every (release) version of Minecraft since 1.21.1. The LTS (long term service) versions are currently 1.21.1-x.x.x and 26.1.2-x.x.x. These releases are actively maintained. The rest have branches in my repo, and you're welcome to submit pull requests. Critical updates may be ported, if there's enough interest, but they will not be actively maintained.

The only approved sources for these jars are CurseForge and Modrinth.
