Overview
NMBCT Football brings the sport into the blocky world with more than a sliding item: you control a dedicated football entity with its own physics, work with teammates, challenge opponents, and score goals. Field players can dribble, kick, juggle, slide tackle, and boost sprint; goalkeepers can dive, catch, punch, throw, and release the ball. A server-authoritative match system handles goals, out-of-bounds, corner kicks, goal kicks, throw-ins, offside, free kicks, and penalties — plus halves, stoppage time, extra time, and penalty shootouts.
Ideal for custom pitches, server events, or adventure maps. Field geometry, match duration, and rule toggles are adjustable via config files or in-game GUIs.
Features
Ball Physics & Player Actions
- Custom rigid-body physics: linear/angular velocity, ground friction & bounce, spin from off-center kicks
- Field play: dribble, charged kicks, trap, juggle, slide tackle, boost sprint, look-around while moving
- Off-screen aid: edge arrow indicator when the ball leaves the screen (configurable)
Goalkeeper System
- Official GK per team, or voluntary GK mode (
/match gk on/off)
- Diving saves (3D cone detection), catching, punching, throwing, releasing held ball
- Hold steal protection during matches; carrying ball outside the penalty area awards a direct free kick
Full Match Flow
- Two halves, stoppage time, optional extra time, penalty shootout (ABAB five rounds + sudden death)
- Three kickoff types: match start, post-goal, half-time — with kickoff lock & dynamic stoppage
- Auto officiating: goals, disallowed goals, touchline/goal-line outs, corners, goal kicks, throw-ins
- Optional offside detection; slide tackles in the box award penalties
- Set-piece rules for goal kicks, corners, throw-ins, free kicks, and penalty placement/restrictions
- Rich match HUD: score & timer, phase name, goal banners, free kick/out-of-bounds/pause notices, and more
Goal Nets
- Place net anchors and connect four corners with the Goal Net Connector to spawn a deformable net
- The ball deforms the mesh and exchanges momentum for a realistic net effect
Stamina
- Sprinting and jumping drain stamina; recovery after a short delay when idle
- Low stamina reduces move speed; slide tackles, dives, and boost sprint cost extra
Management & Configuration
/match commands: start, pause, reset, teams, goalkeepers, score, phase control

Quick Start
- Install dependencies (see below) and place the mod in your
mods folder
- Run
/football summon as admin to spawn a ball
- Configure team names, duration, and field with
/match setup and /match config
- Players join with
/match join A or /match join B
- Admin runs
/match start to kick off
