Nitwit villagers have always been useless, unemployed bums. Turns out, they just needed something to do.
Right-click any adult nitwit villager to open a minigame menu and challenge them to one of 6 different games.
6 Minigames:
🎲 Would You Rather — Two options. No wrong answers. Just chaos.
🧠 Trivia — Answer questions correctly to earn emeralds. Difficulty and reward scale based on the villager's biome.
🤥 Two Truths and a Lie — Pay 1 emerald, win 2. Figure out which statement is the lie. Statements shuffle every round so no memorizing answers.
🙋 Never Have I Ever — The villager confesses things. You respond. No stakes, just vibes.
🔥 Hot Takes — The villager has opinions. Strong ones. Agree or disagree.
❓ Riddles — Pay 1 emerald, win up to 4. Difficulty and payout scale by biome.
Biome Personalities: Every biome has a completely different personality flavor for its questions and content.
- 🌾 Plains — Boring dad energy. Unremarkable opinions stated with complete confidence.
- 🏜️ Desert — Conspiracy theorist. Nothing is a coincidence. Everything is connected.
- 🌿 Savanna — Delusional overconfidence. Has definitely never lost a fight.
- 🌲 Taiga — Passive aggressive outdoorsy type. Quietly judging your life choices.
- ❄️ Snowy — Existential dread. Has thought too hard about everything.
- 🌿 Swamp — Completely unhinged. Has lived a very complicated life. No further questions.
Swamp Nitwit Camp: Rare structures generate in swamp biomes containing 2 to 4 nitwit villagers camped around a fire. Use /locate structure nitwit_minigames:nitwit_camp to find them.
Other details:
- Zombies and witches are completely passive to nitwits
- Nitwits freeze in place while you are playing so they don't wander off
- Emerald game cooldowns are persistent and saved server side — cooldowns survive restarts and crashes
- Multiplayer compatible
- No dependencies required
FAQ: Why only nitwits? They have nothing else to do.
Can I play on a server? Yes. All economy transactions and cooldowns are handled and saved server side.
How long are cooldowns? One full Minecraft day per emerald game. Cooldowns are tracked per player and persist through server restarts.
