Nikke's Cleaner

Nikke's Cleaner is a lightweight mod designed to improve server performance by automatically removing all dropped items from the ground at regular intervals.

How It Works

Every 5 minutes, the mod scans all loaded dimensions and removes every item entity on the ground. Before doing so, it warns all online players 30 seconds in advance, giving them enough time to pick up anything important.

Warning message (30s before):

⚠ The floor is getting swept in 30 seconds. Say goodbye to your dropped loot!

Cleanup message:

✔ Swept clean! X item(s) have been cleared from the ground.

 

Why Use It?

Dropped items are one of the most common causes of lag on multiplayer servers. Each item on the ground is an active entity that the server has to track and process every tick. Over time — especially after mob farms, raids, or explosions — hundreds of items can pile up and drag performance down noticeably.

Nikke's Cleaner solves this silently and automatically, with no commands, no configuration files, and no setup required.
