Overview

NicelightCraft UI is an advanced client-side interface overhaul for Minecraft Forge 1.20.1. It redesigns the default title screen and world loading interface while providing a built-in visual editor that allows players to freely reposition buttons, customize themes, and apply custom images, animated GIFs, or high-definition MP4 videos.

This mod operates purely client-side and is never required on the server.

1. Custom Main Menu Architecture

Replaces the standard Minecraft title screen with a sleek layout comprising standard functional navigation:

2. Built-in In-Game Interface Editor

Access the editor by clicking the circular gear icon directly on the main menu. The visual customization canvas provides:

• Group Dragging: Reposition the entire button cluster simultaneously.
• Individual Dragging: Fine-tune and snap individual buttons independently.
• Lock Mode: Lock interface elements to prevent accidental drag events during gameplay.
• Layout Reset: One-click restore function to revert all positions back to default factory presets.
• Real-Time Persistence: All coordinates and states are automatically saved immediately upon modification.

3. Custom Backgrounds & Media Pipeline

Includes four built-in visual presets: Default, Purple, Dark, and Custom. You can configure independent wallpapers for:

• The Main Menu
• The World Loading Screen

4. Format Support (Images, GIFs, & MP4 Videos)

Compatible with standard and animated media formats:

• PNG, JPG / JPEG
• Animated GIF
• MP4 (H.264)

Imported media files are automatically mirrored to config/nicelightcraft_ui/, making the mod fully independent of your source file paths once applied.

5. Configurable Animation Framerates

Balance graphical smoothness against system resource consumption with selectable playback rates:

• Presets: 15 FPS, 24 FPS, 30 FPS, 45 FPS, or 60 FPS.
• Tip: Lower-spec configurations should select 15 or 24 FPS to minimize memory bandwidth and VRAM allocation.

6. Three Functional Button Visibility Modes

Each individual button or the entire cluster can be assigned one of three operational states:

• Visible: Displayed normally with full click interaction.
• Hidden: Completely invisible and disabled from mouse interaction.
• Hidden but Functional: The visual button texture is removed, but its clickable hitbox remains fully active. Ideal for custom wallpapers featuring pre-rendered text buttons.

7. Dual Language Localization

Automatically detects and synchronizes with your current Minecraft client language:

• English: Standard English UI.
• Tiếng Việt: Giao diện tiếng Việt hoàn chỉnh.

Quick Setup & Controls

1. Open Minecraft and stay on the main menu.
2. Click the Gear Icon to toggle the customization panel.
3. Select your movement mode (Disabled, Move All, or Move Single).
4. Click and drag interface elements directly across the screen.
5. Select a background mode or load your own image/video file.
6. Adjust your preferred animation FPS target.
7. Configure individual button visibility states as desired.
8. Click Close. All settings are saved automatically.

Technical Notes & Video Playback

• MP4 Decoder Engine: The video pipeline prioritizes system-installed FFmpeg binaries. On Windows systems lacking FFmpeg, it defaults to native Windows media services and PowerShell fallback routines.
• Aspect Ratio: It is strongly recommended to use media matching your monitor's native aspect ratio (e.g., 16:9, 21:9) to prevent unwanted letterboxing or cropping.
• Fallback: If an MP4 fails to decode due to missing system codecs or OS security restrictions, convert the file to an optimized GIF or high-resolution PNG.
