With this update, my goal is to simplify the overall experience the mod offers while making things feel more fleshed out. This means some older features have been removed, especially ones that didn’t really need to exist in the first place.

I will only highlight the additions in this changelog. While some features remain unchanged from the Nexus Crusade build, most of the mod has been reworked to the point that it’s essentially a different mod.

As always, I appreciate any feedback you have.

 

Main Additions:

 

+Acid Stalker:
-A hostile undead mob that disguises itself among Acid Piles found in Radiant Shrublands
-Has 30 HP
-Deals 6 melee damage
-Shoots radiant projectiles that leave behind large acid effect clouds
-Drops Radiant Fangs (Up to 3) and Acid Piles (Up to 4)

 

+Acid Pile:
-A block that generates in Radiant Shrublands in piles and next to Nexus Acid
-Acid Stalker hide among these blocks

 

+Stalker Disguise:
-A block that spawns an Acid Stalker if there is a Player nearby
-Looks exactly like an Acid Pile block
-Can be crafted using 3 Radiant Ash and 5 Acid Piles

 

+Ruinn:
-A strong hostile mob that spawns in flatland biomes (radiant shrublands, plains, sunflower plains, savannas, snowy plains, ice spikes, beaches, stony shores)
-Has 120 HP
-Deals 10 melee damage
-The entity possessing the robot can occasionally show up, causing the robot to freeze while the entity shoots exploding projectiles for 12 seconds
-Drops Skeleton Skulls (Up to 2), Sinister Stone (Up to 5), and Iron Ingots (Up to 14)

 

+Nexus Skin:
-An item dropped by Wreckeds (Up to 4), Visitors (Up to 5) and Infectors (Up to 4)
-Can be used to craft the following items: Nexus, Red Cactus, Flickering Lantern, Sinister Stone, Silk Armor

 

+Weathered Silk:
-An item dropped by Soul Moths (Up to 2)
-Can be used to make the following items: String, Silk Armor, Soul Bag

 

+Soul Bag:
-Can be crafted using 7 Weathered Silk
-Applies Strength effect for 1 minute while in the inventory in exchange for 1 XP level

 

+Silk Armor:
-An armor set crafted with Nexus Skin and Weathered Silk
-Better than iron armor (providing higher armor toughness and knockback resistance) but weaker than diamond armor
-Can be repaired using Nexus Skin and Weathered Silk

 

+Bone Shards:
-An item dropped by Visitors (Up to 4), Infectors (Up to 4) and Tanglers (Up to 8)
-Can be used to craft Dreaded Bone Blocks or to freeze mobs using the Nexus Amulet

 

+Frozen Cloud:
-A new slippery cloud variant that is made by the Cloudmaker in cold biomes (snowy plains, snowy beaches, snowy taigas, snowy slopes, ice spikes, frozen peaks, groves, frozen rivers, cold oceans, all 5 end biomes)
-Drops a Frost Chunk
-Generates with Icicles

 

+Frost Chunk:
-Dropped by breaking Frozen Clouds
-Can be used to make the following items: Icicle, Ice Lantern, Ice Ball, Ice Wand

 

+Icicle:
-A decorative block that can be crafted using 4 Frost Chunks
-Can be placed under blocks

 

+Radiant Lock:
-A block found in Overgrown Castles that can be unlocked using a Radiant Key
-It may contain:
Up to 4 Radiant Ash
11 Emeralds
3 Iron Blocks
2 Gold Blocks
3 Golden Apples
2 Name Tags
1 Saddle
5 Slimeballs
Pieces of Silk Armor
4 Entangled Melons
4 Melon Seeds

 

+Flickering Lantern:
-Can be crafted using an Ice Lantern and 4 Nexus Skins
-Starts to flicker every 3 seconds
-Can be found naturally in the basement of the Overgrown Castle

 

+Murk Charge:
-A throwable item that triggers a lightning strike upon landing
-Can be crafted using a Radiant Ash and 4 Nexus Clouds
