NextSpace

Build your own spaceship—from the cockpit to the oxygen supply.

NextSpace combines space exploration with the engineering possibilities of Create and Create: Aeronautics. Construct flyable ships, assemble modular control panels, and leave the planet’s surface behind. Getting there takes more than engines: an airtight hull and the right equipment belong aboard, too.

🌌 Space & Planets

Explore Zyron-7, the Moon, and other worlds. Discover moving celestial bodies with configurable orbits and rotation.

Altitude-based transitions connect planetary surfaces with space. Your ship and its passengers can cross the dimension boundary together.

🚀 Spaceships, Aetherium Thrusters & Creative Flight

Build your ship using Aeronautics/Sable, then equip it with a pilot seat and ship controls.

Choose between two different propulsion options:

• Aetherium Thrusters: Engines powered by liquid Aetherium, with thrust controlled through redstone signal strength. They work in a vacuum, connect to your Create fluid supply, and support customizable flame colors.
• Creative Ship Controller: A creative flight block for directly controlling your ship. Move forward, backward, sideways, up, and down, or control roll, pitch, and yaw. Acceleration, damping, and the influence of ship mass are configurable.

🫧 Oxygen & Airtight Rooms

Build enclosed interiors and supply them with air using the Creative Oxygen Block. The oxygen system accounts for rooms, pressure equalization, and air escaping through openings. Barometers and oxymeters help you monitor conditions aboard.

The configuration lets you define which blocks and block tags are airtight. You can also set exceptions, non-breathable dimensions, filling rates, and leak rates to adapt the system to your modpack.

For spacewalks, equip a complete spacesuit, carry an oxygen tank in its dedicated slot, and check your remaining air through a wrist-mounted hologram. Install nozzle modules on your chestplate, leggings, and boots to maneuver in zero gravity—using oxygen as propellant and counter-thrust to slow down.

🧲 Artificial Gravity

The Creative Gravity Block provides artificial gravity inside an Aeronautics ship while in zero-gravity space. Its orientation determines which direction counts as “down” aboard your ship.

🎛️ Build Your Own Cockpit

Design your control panels with control sticks, buttons, switches, sliders, indicator lights, and key switches, mounted on modular controller blocks.

Standard, beveled, and wireless variants, along with frequency-based connections, let you build custom cockpits and control rooms. Ship hulls, industrial casings, technical floors, and redstone glass sliding doors complete your interiors.

✨ Graphics & Atmosphere

Volumetric clouds, planetary atmospheres, and space visuals shape the view from your cockpit. The ringed planet’s rings appear as distant bands that resolve into individual basalt fragments as you approach.

Dynamic lights with entity shadows, helmet flashlights, and customizable neon displays bring your builds to life. Add text, upload PNG icons, or draw your own pixel art. An integrated first-person body view also lets you see your spacesuit when looking down.

🛰️ Satellites & Communication

Expand beyond your ship with satellite controllers, terminals, antennas, and satellite dishes. Modules for communication, telemetry, GPS, mapping, ore scanning, and weather extend your infrastructure into orbit.

For Minecraft 1.21.1 with NeoForge. Requires Create, Create: Aeronautics with Sable, Power Grid, and Veil, along with their dependencies. JourneyMap is optional for GPS integration.
