# Nexora

Step through a portal into a crystalline world beneath an eternal night. Mine nexora, craft new equipment and face the Nexorian Beast.

## Getting started

Find nexora ore between Y -64 and -48 in newly generated Overworld chunks. Mine it with a diamond pickaxe or better and smelt the raw nexora into ingots.

Craft nexora blocks using nine ingots each. Build a Nether-style portal frame from these blocks, including all four corners. The minimum outside size is 4 × 5 blocks. Craft a Nexorian Lighter from one iron ingot and one nexora ingot, then light the inside of the frame.

Beds are dangerous in Nexora: staying in bed for ten seconds causes an explosion. They do not set your respawn point in this dimension.

## Requirements

Minecraft Java **1.21.1**, NeoForge **21.1.259 or newer within the Minecraft 1.21.1 branch**, and Java **21**. Place `nexora-0.2.0.jar` in your `mods` folder. Multiplayer requires installation on the server and every client. Nexora declares no other required mods.

## Development version

Version 0.2.0 is proposed as a beta. Balance and presentation may change. Back up your world before installing or updating.
