NewTerraforged is an unofficial continuation of the TerraForged world generator for Minecraft 1.18.2, developed and maintained by LiGaSt

This project is not affiliated with the original TerraForged authors (dags, Won-Ton) and is not an official update or successor to their mod. It is a community fork based on the open-source MIT codebase.

⚠ Unstable beta

The mod is in active development. You may encounter slow world loading, empty biomes, missing or broken decorations, unbalanced underground regions, and regressions between builds.

Not recommended for a main survival world.After updating the jar, create a new world — existing chunks are not regenerated.

cave-biomes.toml— underground biomes, weights, regional stats

caves.toml — mega, giga, and synapse cave settings

settings.toml — general world generation options

Known limitations

Mega/giga generation is still being tuned — some biomes may spawn empty or too often

Not all third-party mod features pass biome theme filters underground

Performance depends on world size and mod count
