I like power armor mods for Minecraft, it fits great with many different tech mods, but I haven't seen many mods that add these ideas in a simple fashion.

Netherite Power Armor is a simple form of armor that allows you to upgrade your Netherite Armor for a high value of armor points and armor toughness points. The armor is nice and easy to understand: While wearing any of the armor without a Blaze Cell, you will find yourself extremely slow and unable to move or attack easily.

While the armor is powered, you will find you are still slower than you normally would be, but you can now move much more freely and step up single blocks.
