Family Main is the foundation of the Family of Mods: a lightweight Minecraft Forge mod that makes villages feel more alive without replacing vanilla gameplay.
Villages grow and struggle based on nearby water, farmland, crops, and available space. Settlements can develop different identities—such as farming communities, libraries, nomadic camps, or growing towns—while population, food, water, and sustainability influence whether they thrive, expand, migrate, or decline.
Family Main is designed to work perfectly on its own, while also providing the shared foundation future Family mods can build on. Its systems are configurable, performance-conscious, and made to fit naturally into both vanilla-style worlds and larger modpacks.
