Netherite Fortune

Make Fortune enchantment work on Ancient Debris!

Netherite Fortune is a lightweight Minecraft mod that allows the Fortune enchantment to increase the drops obtained from mining Ancient Debris, making Netherite progression more rewarding.

In vanilla Minecraft, mining Ancient Debris does not benefit from the Fortune enchantment. This mod changes that behavior, giving players a new reason to use Fortune-enchanted pickaxes when exploring the Nether in search of this valuable resource.

Features

• Fortune Support for Ancient Debris: The Fortune enchantment can increase the drops obtained when mining Ancient Debris.

• More Rewarding Nether Exploration: Players can get more Netherite Scrap from their Ancient Debris mining trips, potentially reducing the amount of time and effort required to gather Netherite.

• Better Use for Fortune-Enchanted Pickaxes: Fortune becomes more useful during Netherite resource gathering, giving players another reason to bring an appropriately enchanted pickaxe on their mining expeditions.

How Does It Change Gameplay?

With Netherite Fortune installed, players can use a Fortune-enchanted pickaxe to improve their Ancient Debris yields instead of receiving the same drops regardless of their Fortune level.

For example, players preparing to upgrade their diamond equipment to Netherite can spend time mining Ancient Debris in the Nether and benefit from Fortune to gather Netherite resources more efficiently. This can make Netherite progression less tedious, especially for players who need multiple Netherite Ingots for tools, weapons, armor, or equipment upgrades.

Why Use Netherite Fortune?

If you enjoy mining and exploring the Nether but find collecting Ancient Debris repetitive, this mod offers a simple gameplay improvement. It enhances an existing enchantment rather than introducing complicated new systems, keeping the experience close to vanilla Minecraft while making resource gathering more flexible.
