What do I put for Level Type if I am using a mod that changes that default level type and has a option to specify the nether level type and end leveltype? }, "dimensions": { "nether": "biomesoplenty", "end": "default" } } } For Terraforged
Very nice mod in concept, but there are some bugs currently:
I am getting recipe issues with the blackstone slabs and polished blackstone. I've solved this by using CraftTweaker, but it seems like a problem to look into.
As said in this thread, the netherite sword recipe is incorrect (it takes a netherite sword as the ingredient). Additionally, armor pieces are supposed to be upgrades from diamond as well. I have also fixed these with CraftTweaker (and added functionality to preserve NBT data like enchantments when "upgrading").
Warped and crimson fungi can't be grown with bone meal, are not placeable on nylium, and don't seem to grow naturally.
Finally, the worldgen is lacking. I imagine that's what you're working on, but right now it just generates the new blocks randomly as ores, which is rather unsightly and makes them quite rare. I also never found soul soil—I've made a recipe for it out of dirt and soul sand for the time being.
I usually only play 1.12.2 and 1.7.10. Your module is just right for me. Can I introduce your module to MC forum in China? (mcbbs) I will not send your module files there, only leave a URL to send to you. I hope you agree! thank you!
Hey, just wanted to say the description is a bit lacking. Most people would be able to tell what this mod does from the name alone, but you should be me precise on exactly what it is offering. Does it backport the nether biomes as well as the blocks, or does it just do the blocks? Does it have the new models for the piglins as well as the new nether mobs? Do you add in the new structures from the 1.16 update? There is a lot to that update and frankly this description gives people just glancing over this mod(which there are several like this) no idea the extent as to what this is actually backporting. I can see from the images that it adds the blocks, but that is it. I would recommend that you flesh out the description a bit to give people a better idea as to what this mod has to offer.
Just wondering, but does the 1.12.2 version have ancient debris generating, and if so how rare? Having a bit of difficulty finding it.
Nvm, found out what level it generates at.
Also, found out you can use a custom EntityItem for the netherite stuff and set its immuneToFire property to true, which will make it never burn. This should make it indestructible via lava and fire.
Netherite armor is crafted in vanilla using one netherite ingot and the piece of diamond armor you want to use to get the respective piece of netherite armor.
Finally, bug report: netherite sword is erroneously crafted via itself and a netherite ingot. Correct recipe would be diamond sword and netherite ingot.
.
does it work with spartan weapons? that would be so cool
What all has been backported so far? this is very cool!
Looking forward to seeing biomes and bastions in 1.12 if this hasnt been abandoned.
Hows the progress to having proper biomes going?
Sounds of block breaking backport would be nice! (hyphae, basalt, etc.)
make 1.8.9 version
can the 1.14.4 netherite sward be fixed so it can be obtained in game

does this mod adds the biomes aswell including fog and ambient sounds?
Any chance of the textures being animated, or crying obsidian being a light source?
will any of the blocks such as the nyliums be retextured to fit the 1.12 style?
When will the biomes be added in? And is netherite fireproof?
