Nether Compass

Netherite Compass is a utility mod designed to help players locate Ancient Debris, the rarest resource in the Nether. Instead of blindly digging through netherrack, the compass scans the surrounding area and points toward the nearest Ancient Debris block.

When a target is found, the compass displays:

• The exact Y‑level of the debris
• The direction you need to follow
• The distance in blocks to reach it
• A reactive needle that adjusts as you move

The mod does not alter world generation or add new ores. It simply provides accurate guidance to existing Ancient Debris, making Netherite mining more efficient without breaking the game’s balance.

⚠️ Important Limitations Netherite Compass does not work on servers with anti X‑ray systems, as these protections block access to block‑data scanning. On such servers, the compass will remain inactive.
