"NeroTech" (the "Mod") means this Minecraft modification, including its
source code, compiled builds (jars), textures, models, sounds, names, and
all other original assets in this repository.
"Official Sources" means the distribution channels operated or authorised
by the copyright holder, currently:
The Mod is source-available, not open source: you can read and learn from
everything here, but the rights granted below are the only rights granted.
1. WHAT YOU MAY DO (no permission needed)

a) USE & PLAY. Use the Mod in single-player or on any server, private or
public, free or monetised.
b) MODPACKS — allowed and encouraged. You may include the Mod in any
modpack, on any platform (CurseForge, Modrinth, private packs, server
packs), without asking first, provided that:
- the Mod's jar is the unmodified official file, originating from an
Official Source (packs that reference the official file by
download — e.g. CurseForge/Modrinth pack manifests — satisfy this
automatically);
- you do not present the Mod as your own work; and
- the pack's listing credits "Nerotech by Neroland" with links to
the CurseForge page above and the GitHub repository
c) CONTENT CREATION & COMMERCIAL USE. Create and monetise videos, streams,
screenshots, reviews, and other content featuring the Mod, and run the
Mod in commercial settings (e.g. monetised servers or events), provided
every copy of the Mod involved was obtained from an Official Source (or
through a modpack permitted by section 1(b)).
d) SOURCE ACCESS & PRIVATE FORKS. View the source, fork the repository on
GitHub, and modify the Mod for your own private use (yourself and your
own server's players). Private modified builds must not be distributed
further.
e) CONTRIBUTIONS. Submit issues and pull requests. By submitting a
contribution you grant the copyright holder a perpetual, worldwide,
royalty-free licence to use, modify, distribute, and relicense that
contribution as part of the Mod.
2. WHAT YOU MAY NOT DO (without prior written permission)

a) REDISTRIBUTION. Do not re-upload, mirror, re-host, or otherwise
redistribute the Mod's builds (original or modified) outside the
Official Sources, except as allowed by section 1(b) for modpacks.
This includes "rehost" sites and publishing builds of a fork — under
this name or any other name.
b) DERIVATIVE WORKS. Do not use the Mod's code, textures, models, or
other assets in other projects, whether or not modified.
c) MISREPRESENTATION. Do not claim authorship of the Mod or imply
endorsement by the copyright holder.

3. NO WARRANTY

THE MOD IS PROVIDED "AS IS", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR
IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY,
FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NONINFRINGEMENT. IN NO EVENT SHALL
THE COPYRIGHT HOLDER BE LIABLE FOR ANY CLAIM, DAMAGES OR OTHER LIABILITY,
WHETHER IN AN ACTION OF CONTRACT, TORT OR OTHERWISE, ARISING FROM, OUT OF
OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE MOD OR THE USE OF OR OTHER DEALINGS IN THE MOD.

- Minecraft is a trademark of Mojang AB / Microsoft. This Mod is not an
official Minecraft product and is not approved by or associated with
Mojang or Microsoft. Your use of Minecraft itself is governed by the
Minecraft EULA.
- Forking this repository on GitHub is additionally covered by the GitHub
Terms of Service; this licence does not restrict rights GitHub's terms
grant for on-platform forks.
- This licence may be updated for future versions of the Mod; the licence
shipped with a given version applies to that version.
