## 🧠 Sanity: Are You Still Awake?

Sanity is an independent player attribute. It answers only one question:

> 80	🌟 Cheerful	Movement and attack speed increased, dash and skill cooldowns reduced
≤ 60	🌫️ Dispirited	Slight movement slowdown, attack speed decreased, skill cooldowns increased
≤ 40	👁️ Distracted	Moderate movement slowdown, attack power decreased, noise at the edge of vision
≤ 20	💀 Mad	Screen shakes violently, hallucinatory creatures manifest, combat ability severely weakened
≤ 10	🔥 Mad II	Shaking intensifies, sounds distort, you can no longer tell which monsters are real
≤ 1	🌑 Mad III	Total collapse. Dreams have completely overtaken reality

🌍 The Environment Is the Enemy

San is not static. The world actively consumes you:

🌙 Overworld Night	Sanity slowly drains as darkness falls
🔥 The Nether	The dimension's inherent malice erodes the mind
🌌 The End	The void gazes back at you, San continuously drops
🌧️ Rain	Gloomy weather crushes the spirit
⛈️ Thunderstorm	Rapid collapse under extreme weather

Natural recovery also exists — 0.1 point restored every 1200 ticks. But if you're in a thunderstorm, that recovery is a drop in the bucket.
