Focalors Mod v1.0.3 - The Nanite Weaponry Update
This major update introduces the Nanite Cannon, refines combat mechanics, and brings significant optimizations.
🚀 New Features
- Nanite Cannon: A devastating new ranged weapon with two firing modes.
- Mining Mode (Default): Destroys a 256-block long tunnel but preserves ores. Perfect for mining.
- Obliterate Mode: Destroys everything in its path.
- Mechanics: Holds 2 charges. Auto-recharges 1 ammo every 10 seconds. Deals massive entity damage (15 Hearts) and sets targets on fire.
- Controls: Shift + Right Click to switch modes. Right click to fire.
- Nanite HUD: Added a sleek, curved HUD around the crosshair when holding the Cannon to show ammo and reload status.
- Weapon Wheel Overhaul:
- Redesigned for 2-weapon selection (Sword vs Cannon).
- Rotated layout to Left/Right splits for intuitive mouse flicking.
- Disabled in Creative Mode to allow smooth "Pick Block" actions.
🔧 Bug Fixes & Improvements
- God Mode Toggle: Fixed an issue where pressing 'G' (Omega unlocked) wouldn't toggle God Mode. It is now fully functional and lasts indefinitely until disabled.
- Dash Mechanics:
- Restored the "Sonic Boom" shockwave damage when dashing through enemies.
- Fixed the infinite dash bug; charges now consume correctly and recharge after 3 seconds.
- Visual Polish:
- Adjusted Sword and Cannon particle effects to align better with the player's hand height.
- Reduced particle count by 50% to improve FPS and visibility.
- Optimization:
- rewrote the Cannon's destruction algorithm to use Ray-Volume Sweeping instead of AABB scans, drastically reducing calculation time.
- Optimized block updates to prevent server lag ("cascade lag") when destroying large volumes of terrain.
📦 Changes
- Reduced Cannon HUD radius to be more compact.
- Increased Weapon Wheel deadzone to prevent accidental selection.
