Description

Mythscribe is a dimension-crafting mod about research, writing, and exploration. You discover Trait Pages at the Scribe Table, compose a Written Tome at the Writing Table, and open portals with that tome at the Altar to travel into new, hand-crafted realms.

How it works

Scribe Table – Research

Insert Ink + Unscribed Pages to discover Trait Pages.
Each discovery adds a new trait to your personal library.

Writing Table – Compose

Place a Dimensional Tome in the tome slot.
Drag in the trait pages you want. The UI groups them by category and shows stability/chaos.
Click Write to create your first Written Tome.

Altar – Travel

Right-click the Altar with the Written Tome in hand to begin the portal sequence.
The portal dials to a realm that matches the traits you inscribed.

Explore & Progress

In realms, you’ll find mystic crystals—crystal caches that open like chests—containing more Unscribed Pages and loot.
Bring them home, research them at the Scribe Table, and expand your library to write ever wilder worlds.

Trait Categories

Biome – Which biomes dominate (lush, desert, cave types, etc.).
Sky – Stars, voids, auroras, celestial effects.
Terrain – Flat, mountainous, floating isles, caverns, archipelago, and more.
Weather – Clear, rain, storms, blizzards, special climate rules.
Material – Surface blocks, ore sets, feature palettes and generation.
Time – Day, night, loops, stutters, altered daylength.
Ruleset – World rules: peaceful/hardcore vibes, hunger toggles, gravity tweaks, etc.
Mob – What spawns, spawn rates, and faction flavor.

Loop: Research → Write → Travel → Find crystals & pages → Research more.
Ink your pages, slot your Dimensional Tome, and author the realm you want to explore.
