**Enter the Labyrinth of Minos – if you dare.**

Mythic Arenas brings legendary bosses from Greek mythology to Minecraft – each one fought in its own epic arena. The first chapter: **the Minotaur**.

## 🐂 The Minotaur

- A huge, fully animated boss (≈ 3.8 blocks tall) wielding a double axe

- **Axe swing** – dodge it: the hit only lands when the axe comes down

- **Charge** – he roars, aims … and rushes forward. If he slams into a wall, he is **stunned** and takes **+50 % damage**

- Boss bar, 400 HP, heavy armour – scales with the number of players (+60 % HP per extra player)

## 🌀 The Labyrinth

- Use the **Key of Minos** on the **Altar of Minos** to be teleported into a **freshly generated labyrinth** – different every time

- Sandstone, red sandstone and quartz walls, dark corridors, a starry night sky

- Only **one entrance** leads into the central hall

- The Minotaur **hunts you through the maze** – he can smell you through the walls

- Your spawn point is marked with obsidian, so you can find your way back

## 💀 Hardcore rules

- No breaking, no building, no buckets, no explosions damaging the maze

- **Die and your items stay in the labyrinth forever** (Soulbound-style mods are your friend)

- **Ariadne's Thread** is your emergency exit – but the fight is lost

## 💰 The reward

Defeat the Minotaur and the **golden treasure vault** in the centre opens: diamond blocks, netherite scrap, enchanted weapons and books, golden apples … plus the **Minotaur Horn** as a trophy. A **Return Stone** brings you back to your altar.

## 🛠️ Recipes

- **Key of Minos:** 4 milk buckets, 4 gold blocks, 1 diamond

- **Altar of Minos:** chiseled quartz, gold block, chiseled sandstone, diamond, red & cut sandstone

- **Ariadne's Thread:** 3 string, red dye, gold nugget

*Modpack makers:* set `enableRecipes = false` in `config/mythicarenas-common.toml` to hand out key and altar via quests instead.

Mythic Arenas bringt legendäre Bosse der griechischen Mythologie nach Minecraft – jeder mit seiner eigenen epischen Arena. Das erste Kapitel: **der Minotauros**.

- **Riesiger, animierter Boss** mit Doppelaxt, Bossleiste und Ansturm-Angriff – kracht er gegen eine Wand, ist er betäubt und verwundbar

- **Zufällig generiertes Labyrinth** in einer eigenen Dimension – jedes Mal anders, mit nur einem Eingang zur Halle

- **Hardcore:** kein Bauen, kein Abbauen – stirbst du, bleiben deine Sachen im Labyrinth

- **Goldene Schatzkammer** mit starker Beute, die sich nach dem Sieg öffnet

- **Ariadnefaden** als Notausgang, **Rückkehrstein** für den Heimweg

- Stärker in Gruppen, Rezepte per Config abschaltbar (für Quest-Modpacks)
