"Part 2" of this mod has been released, packaged as part of my Project Overhaul general expansion mod. For the rest of my time in 1.20.1 I’d like to focus my attention on a single mod rather than multiple concept mods.
🌿 Mystical Herbs (Stand-Alone)
Mystical Herbs (Stand-Alone) is the future of the Mystical Herbs project. The original Mystical Herbs (Legacy) will remain available in its current form, but will no longer receive major updates. Versioning continues from where the legacy version left off (1.0.2 -> 1.0.3).
This new stand-alone version represents a major step forward:
✅ Independent Crop & Seed System – no longer requires Mystical Agriculture.
✅ Extended Configuration – crops now offer expanded config options, allowing fine-tuned control over growth rates and drop balance.
✅ Vanilla-Aligned Gameplay – plants integrate naturally into the Minecraft ecosystem.
Legacy Mystical Herbs will remain as-is for those who prefer the old Mystical Agriculture integration. However, all new development, features, and balancing will focus on Mystical Herbs (Stand-Alone) going forward.
This shift ensures Mystical Herbs can grow into a more flexible, future-proof mod while staying lightweight, compatible, and enjoyable on its own. (Quick note, the screenshot above is slightly outdated, it shows the "bud trimmers" but they've been removed and the cannabis leaf drops have been worked into the base drop tables of crops.)

✔️Creepers have a chance to drop a random herb seed upon death via explosion. (configurable)

✔️Fresh, dried, and oil form of each strain.
✔️Bong (to use the bong, place a dried nug in your offhand and hold right click with the bong in your hand. Herbs grant healing effects when consumed via bong, but theres a brief cooldown upon use!) (configurable)
✔️Vaporizer (same as the bong, but consumes oils instead & grants more healing.) (configurable)
✔️Useable medical items to add depth and complexity to medical herb applications. (configurable)
✔️Fully configurable in the ways that matter via the common config file!
