Many mods make Minecraft significantly harder, increasing the challenge but sometimes making daytime survival frustratingly difficult. Muttnes Sunlight Weakness helps balance heavily modded experiences by weakening hostile mobs during the day, while still keeping nights intense and dangerous.

This mod is perfect for players who enjoy hardcore survival but want more control over the difficulty curve. Pair it with Mob Sunscreen, Time Control, or any difficulty-enhancing mods to fine-tune your adventure. It will work perfectly in any zombie apocalypse themed modpack!

🎥 Showcase

🌞 Daytime – Mobs are weaker and slower, making them easier to manage. However, in large groups, they can still pose a threat!

🌙 Nighttime – Mobs regain their full strength and speed, making the night much more dangerous.

- Can be installed server-side only. Works without issues if installed on the client-side as well.

🔧 Configuration

A TOML config file is generated automatically.

You can configure:

damage reduction
movement speed reduction
included mods
included mobs
excluded mobs

Example

damageReduction = 0.5 → mobs deal 50% less damage
speedReduction = 0.30 → mobs move 30% slower
