Music Triggers
Music Triggers lets you control Minecraft music and sound playback using conditions from the game world. Define songs and triggers in configuration files, then let the mod select, fade, and switch tracks as the player moves through different situations.
Highlights
- Play custom music from configurable in-game triggers.
- Match dimensions, biomes, time, weather, health, combat, riding, GUIs, advancements, effects, mobs, and more.
- Configure priority, cooldowns, delays, persistence, fade-in, and fade-out behavior.
- Use local audio files or supported external sources.
- Includes a configuration GUI and the Music Recorder block/item for managing music data.
- This
7.0.6build includes the ARM64 audio/native compatibility fixes prepared for Apple Silicon Macs.
Audio formats and sources
The audio stack supports MP3, FLAC, WAV, OGG, AAC, MP4/M4A, Matroska/WebM, M3U/PLS streams, HTTP URLs, and several external source types. External services can change independently of the mod and may occasionally require a future source update.
Installation
Install Music Triggers and its matching The Impossible Library build in the instance's mods directory. For server-side triggers, both mods must be present on the client and server. Add your own audio files or supported URLs through the generated Music Triggers configuration.
Build note
This is a downstream 7.0.6 ARM64 compatibility build based on the upstream project. It is not an upstream official release. The project license and bundled third-party notices remain included.
