Mushlings Mod! (FORGE)

This mod introduces a new mob to the game - called the Mushling. They spawn naturally in Dark Forest and Mushroom Field biomes, and are passive little creatures. When right clicking on them with a water bucket, they will drink it up and plant a unique crop - called a Magic Root - once they stand on a grass or mycelium block.

The Magic Root is a new food item introduced in this mod. It can only be grown by giving a Mushling a water bucket, and if the crop is destroyed by a player or anything else, it will not drop its seeds. Once it is fully grown, you can harvest it for yourself! Although it is quite difficult to grow, the Magic Root is very useful. Upon eating, it will grant haste 4 for 5 minutes, along with a few xp levels!

Mushlings cannot be bred or tamed, so taking care of them is essential to a successful Magic Root farm! As well, after planting a crop, Mushlings need to wait a full in-game day before they can accept another water bucket and plant another seed.

- Can be harvested once fully grown to produce 1 Magic Root
- Eating the Magic Root will give you haste 4 for 5 minutes, as well as some xp and hunger.
