Muscle Memory
Five branches of skills, each with its own pool of points — and each branch earns those points from the thing it is about. Kill mobs and Combat fills up. Mine and Mining fills up. Points earned in a branch can only be spent inside it, so there is no single "buy everything" path: what you play is what you get good at.
The branches
| Branch | Earns points from | Capstone | Active ability |
|---|---|---|---|
| Combat | kills, weighted by the mob's health | Executioner | War Cry |
| Mining | blocks broken, ore counts five times | Miner's Blessing | Crusher |
| Survival | damage taken and food eaten | Second Wind | Bastion |
| Agility | distance travelled and jumps | Featherfall | Dash |
| Arcane | experience, enchanting, trading | Enlightenment | Blink |
Eight nodes per branch: six ordinary ones, a capstone, and an active ability at the end.
Active abilities
One ability per branch, fired with G. Only one can be bound at a time — right click a node in the tree to bind it, right click again to unbind.
- War Cry — Strength II, resistance and speed for eight seconds
- Crusher — shatters a 3x3 patch of blocks where you are looking
- Bastion — absorption, regeneration and fire resistance at once
- Dash — a leap along your line of sight with a soft landing
- Blink — teleports up to twelve blocks ahead, no damage
Each has its own cooldown, shown on an icon next to the hotbar.
Mastery
Buy every node of a branch and its mastery opens — a node with no rank cap, so points never pile up with nothing to spend them on. Every rank costs one point more than the last, so it is a sink, not a runaway.
Interface
Press K for the tree: branch tabs, a progress bar with real numbers, the links between nodes, and tooltips that explain what a node actually does when you hold Shift. A branch can be reset for experience levels.
On screen you get the equipped ability with its cooldown, a plaque when a branch produces a point, and a progress bar for whichever branch moved last.

Configuration
config/musclememory-server.toml holds the effort thresholds per branch, how fast the
curve grows, and what resetting a branch costs. It is a server config, so on a
server it is set once for everyone.
Notes
Required on both the client and the server. Tested on a dedicated server and with two players at once. Русская локализация в комплекте.
