Provides position data to the Mumble Link plugin.
For more details and documentation see README.md.
Pls make it for forge we need team comms so much
Do you need install it on the server or just the client?
In reply to Pukdo:
Installing it on the server provides some extra functionality, described in this section of the readme: https://github.com/magneticflux-/fabric-mumblelink-mod#non-trivial
In reply to magneticflux_:
I tried using it with a friend that had the forge version but the positional audio didn't work. not to mention the mod kept linking and losing the link. what am I doing wrong?
In reply to trikinya:
Known issue: https://github.com/magneticflux-/fabric-mumblelink-mod/issues/59
Linking and unlinking occurs when joining and leaving worlds/servers.
even when you're consistently in the world? because that's what's happening
Please open an issue and include full logs and any other information you have.
Does this mod not work with Linux (Ubuntu 20.10)? I've tried everything to get this mod to work, but it just won't detect Mumble. I'm not getting the "Minecraft Mumble Link Mod linked" message like my friends are. My friends and I are all using the fabric version of this mod, and it's working perfectly for them but not me. All our config settings in Mumble are identical, so I have no idea why this isn't working.
In reply to littleDEEJAY_YT:
Yes, it should support back virtually every Unix-style distribution, even BSD derivatives and macOS. Try the troubleshooting steps here first: https://github.com/magneticflux-/fabric-mumblelink-mod/wiki/Troubleshooting
If that doesn't work, make sure you have Mumble installed properly. It may not work if you are running Mumble as a Snap if you have advanced security features enabled and the Snap uses per-Snap users/groups (I have not tested this use case).
Thanks so much! This fixed it. Not sure why I didn't try this first before spending an hour troubleshooting it lol. I was using the snap version instead of the PPA.
I just setup mumble and it's asking me to choose a server. when i press add server, it gives me stuff to type in like addresses and stuff, what do i do?
In reply to c5gh:
A prerequisite to using this mod is using Mumble. You can learn more about how to use Mumble here: https://www.mumble.info/
Found it out a bit after I commented, but thanks! :D
Is it possible to make it work with people who have the forge version?

Watch this issue for updates: https://github.com/magneticflux-/fabric-mumblelink-mod/issues/59#issuecomment-788551607
getting a crash report, i have tested with and without the mod and it works without this mod, ive setup a pastebin for the crash report.

Thanks for the info! It appears there's a different version of JNA Platform libraries being loaded somewhere. My mod depends on the version of JNA used my Minecraft and doesn't include it, so I'm not sure why it would see a different version of a class. It might be an issue with Jumploader since it messes with the classpath to load on the Twitch/CurseForge/Overwolf/whatever launcher.
Can you try without Jumploader using the vanilla launcher or MultiMC or something?
Yep!, can do, ill try it on a different world without aof3. im not very good at this stuff, but im using your mumble link mod on aof3 but do you know if aof3 will still work without jumploader?
