Spawn Rate Control
Ever wished Minecraft nights were a proper zombie apocalypse? Or the opposite peaceful, but not quite peaceful? This mod gives you direct control over how many mobs spawn, with two simple dials and optional per-mob fine-tuning.
Features
- Spawn Rate — how often the game tries to spawn mobs.
1.0= vanilla,0.5= half as often,5.0= five times as often,0.0= no natural spawns at all. - Mob Cap Multiplier — how many mobs can exist at once. Scales the game's built-in cap
- Per-Mob Overrides — set a custom rate for specific mobs by ID, e.g.
minecraft:creeper=0.0orminecraft:witch=4.0. Should work with modded mobs too as long as they use the default spawn system vanilla mobs use
Good to know
- In-game config screen change everything live from the mods menu, no restart needed.
- Only natural spawning is affected. Spawners, breeding, spawn eggs and bosses behave like vanilla.
- All spawns go through the vanilla spawn pipeline proper spacing, light rules and biome variety,
- Works server-side and in singleplayer; at default settings the mod has zero performance impact.
