Multi Powers

This is a small mod with 11.5 unique powers that have abilities and cooldowns for PvP with your friends on a server.

This mod has 7 different powers that are able to be given to players with commands.

 

All keybinds can be found in the controls tab I recommend changing them because there are a lot you can't use depending on the power.

 

Keep in mind I am a highschool student with limited coding experience so this mod is likely to have some balancing issues. This is also my first time making a mod at all. I had help from my friends with models and code.

 

Also an extra note: please do not try and use multiple of the same power on a server it will definitely cause some problems.

 

/setpower <playername> <power> is how you may do this.

The powers and their abilities are as follows.

 

Lifestealer - Gains one permanent heart when killing player (with a max of 5 extra hearts) but loses a heart when killed by a player (minimum of 8 hearts total on the player). They have access to a GUI that lets them trade their extra life for permanent potion effects that are toggleable.

 

Necromancer - When the necromancer kills a monster, the monster will respawn under their command and follow the player as long as they have not hit the cap of 10 ressurected monsters they also have increased health and speed, the player is not able to damage their own mobs and the controlled mobs cant damage the player and the player can gear up the mobs. The player has multiple craftable items at their disposal. The Mob Holder which is able to pick up your controlled monsters and place them down. One of theses is able to hold all 10 of your mobs. The Mob Holder is able to be crafted with a rotten flesh and ender pearl at a crafting table to add charges to it. This allows you to throw your mobs down at range. The next tool is the Necrorod this helps you target other entities it has a range of 50 blocks and all you have to do is right click on the enemy you want to target. Next is the Bone Whistle which allows you to call all of your controlled mobs to follow you and stop targeting any ent.ities Last is the Bone Shears which lets you destroy your controlled entities by right clicking.

 

If there are any problems with necromancer summoning the wrong amount of minions you may want to use

/deleteNecromancer <player>

this clears the list of all of his controlled minions

Gravity - The player has 2 abilities with cooldowns which is push and pull, when they push they have higher arrow damage and when they pull they have higher melee damage. Unable to use ender pearls.

 

Viltrumite - Has the ability to fly (outside of combat) they have craftable gauntlets heavy and fast versions. They are unable to use shields but have permanent resistance 1. They have 2 abilities with cooldowns, the first is a grab which allows you to hold entities in the air and throw them by punching or stunning them by right clicking. The second one is a choke dash which stuns you if missed but stuns the other player and does 1.5 hearts of true damage.

This is the exact same progression for the fast gauntlet but with swords

 

Kyle - Has a farming block which only works with all wheat based items including: bread, wheat, seeds, and hay bales. These are thrown on top of the block to increase your "kyle worth" this is added to your scythe weapon as scalable damage. every 2000 points is 1 damage on your scythe. Every wheat is 4 points and every seed is 1 point. The scythe can hit many enemies at once. You may check your "kyle worth" by doing the command. If someone with the Kyle power dies they lose 10% of their "kyle worth".

Parry - You are able to parry any from of damage there are streaks that come with parrying which go all the way up to 10. These include debuffs to the other player and various buffs on yourself. If you hit a parry it is a 1 second cooldown and if you miss it is a 3.5 second cooldown. The damage is reflected by 0.85 times to the player or entity that hit you

 

Adaptation - You are able to adapt to damage taking less damage as you continue to be hit from the same type. There are particle cues that let you know if you are still adapting to damage. You are able to adapt to every type if damage in the game but be careful because other damage types that you adapt to decrease as you adapt to a new source. You also have a ability that strips you of your adaptation and turns it into increased damage based on what you are most adapted to.

 

Important

This mod adds some extra server functionality and was meant to be a standalone mod. There are a couple extra commands to use.

There is also a server message every 30 minutes that displays a player's dimension and rough coordinates (within 250 blocks of them).

To opt out of this system you may use /afk

There is a /setSpawn for ops and a /Spawn for players
