Quality of Life
-Adjusted the Flying Mosslings Texture to look aggressive.
-Added a new Sparkly Particle and Sound Effect for the Shiny Mosslings that play for when they spawn. The sparkle particle also plays randomly for the shiny Mosslings
-The Unleashed Elder Mossling now drops the Mossling Plush all the time.
-Adjusted multiple textures.
Bug Fixes
-The Boss Mosslings should no longer follow Entities with Moss blocks in their Hands
-Fixed the Mossling Headpiece being the wrong way on top of Entities Heads.
-Fixed the Name of the Mossling Belt
-Fixed an issue that caused the Elder Mossling to not attack Players.
-All Mosslings should now be able to Mosslingfy Iron Golems.
-Elder Mossling Nests no longer make a lot of noise after reactivating.
Balancing
Regular Mosslings:
Now run away from Players unless provoked.
All Mosslings:
Now drop less Moss and Flowers.
This is primarily supposed to reduce the flooding of your Inventory when killing many Mosslings.
Elder Mossling (All Phases)
It can now spot Players much better.
Now has a lower chance of spawning Mosslings when getting hurt. (This should also fix the bug where a bunch of Flying Mosslings appear when hitting the Elder Mossling!)
No longer spawns any Mosslings when getting killed.
Reduced direct hit damage. (by 2)
Reduced Step Height. (by 1)
Reduced HP across all Versions and Phases (By 50 for 1st Phases and 75 for second Phases)
Increased Knock back. (by 1)
These changes are primarily targeted at certain Frustrations you could have when fighting the Boss.
Elder Mossling (1st Phase)
No longer spawns a Mossling when spawning.
Elder Mossling (2nd Phase)
Now spawns 2 Flying Mosslings when going into the second Phase
Applies Knock back when hitting an Entity.
Now spawns Eldritch Limbs 2 Minutes into the second phase around itself.
Eldritch Limbs also spawn 2 Minutes after the first set for the Unleashed Mossling.
The Unleashed Variant now has a smaller Hit box.
Shiny Mossling
Slightly more common to spawn from Mossling Nests. (by about 0.5%)
Reduced Spawn rate from Mossling Staffs (by about 5%)
Now run away from Players unless provoked. (slightly faster than regular Mosslings)
This change should make it more common to find Shiny Mosslings more naturally rather than spawned by the Player.
Mossling Armor Set:
Now requires a diamond instead of the bottom Moss Block for each of the Recipes.
Mosslling Armor, even with its lower stats than Iron Armor, gave too much value with its Potion effects, which is why crafting it is more expensive now.
Flying Mossling
Increased HP (From 8 to 10)
Now drops more XP (From 8 to 20)
Now Deals more Damage (From 3 to 6)
Increased its Flying Speed slightly
Now has Knock back on Entities it hits.
You can no longer ride them
Its size has been increased drastically. (More than double its original size)
They drop slightly less XP (From 20 to 15)
This change is supposed to make the flying Mosslings more different to the regular Mosslings and reduce frustration when fighting them.
Mossling Staff:
Reduced Durability from (500 to 64)
Now automatically tames spawned Mosslings
Punching Tamed Mosslings with it “absorbs” them, repairing your Staff.
These changes are intended to reduce the Power of the Staff, while allowing the Player to essentially “undo” any Mosslings they have spawned without having wasted durability.
New Things
-Added a new Sword Enchantment: Mosslings Bane. Any Weapon with this Enchantment deals additional Damage to Mossling-type Mobs. A Rare Enchantment that can be obtained through the Enchantment Table, random Loot pools or Villagers.
-Added a new Achievement for taming Mosslings and for the new Enchantment
- NEW MOB: The Elder Mossling now after entering the second Phase has a chance to spawn “Eldritch Limbs”. These Limbs apply a passive Weakness effect that will only vanish if they are killed or despawned. This Mob is in EARLY testing, but I wanted to release it already to get some early feedback on it, and to decide if this Addition is healthy to the Mod.
