What's new
Morph of PKG 1.0.5 — three field fixes This is a focused follow-up to 1.0.4. All of the 1.0.4 content (modded-creature animations, Cobblemon per-species abilities, riding, Batman support, 17 locales) is unchanged — this release fixes three issues reported from real play, and renames the download file to morphofpkg-1.0.5.jar. The mod's internal id is unchanged, so your existing worlds and config files keep working. FIXED: modded mobs no longer attack a non-hostile morph The "don't target me while I'm disguised as a peaceful creature" rule used a fixed vanilla list of hostile mobs, so creatures from other mods — such as Grimoire of Gaia harpies and minotaurs — were not recognised as hostile and kept attacking you even while you were in a harpy or zombie morph. Aggression is now dynamic: a mob counts as hostile when it is an Enemy or its category is MONSTER. The targeting path and the "hit it back to make it target you" path both use the same measure, so behaviour is consistent for every mod's creatures. FIXED: chests and crafting tables open with an empty hand The multi-point grab scan ignored blocks and could latch onto a nearby creature even while you were aiming at a chest, cancelling the block interaction — so with an empty hand you could not open a chest or a crafting table. Now, if you are aiming at a reachable block (within 4.5 blocks) the grab scan is skipped entirely, so block interaction always wins. Grabbing creatures is unchanged when you are not aiming at a block. FIXED: you can talk to (MCA) villagers again Because the empty-hand grab cancelled the vanilla interaction, the trade/dialogue menu never opened for villagers — including MCA (Minecraft Comes Alive) villagers. Villagers are now excluded from grabbing: vanilla AbstractVillager, anything in the mca: namespace, and VillagerEntityMCA. You can trade with villagers and open MCA dialogues normally, in any morph. ALSO INCLUDED * Stability: every rider handler is wrapped in a crash guard — if an optional feature throws, the error is logged once and gameplay continues instead of the server dropping. * Local driver input lock fix for the 1.0.4 "another player rides your morph" feature. KNOWN LIMITS (documented, not hidden) * On a dedicated server, ability cooldowns are still tracked server-side only, so your client's cooldown bars can read "ready" while the server is still counting down. Single-player is unaffected. * Owing to the environment, this build was verified with decompiled sources and build-time gates, not with in-game play-testing.
