Curse Maven Snippet
What's new
The forge now casts iron too. Without coal, iron comes out as iron; with coal, as steel. If
there is some coal but not enough for the cast, the forge waits instead of quietly casting iron.
- Raw metal blocks say what they are made of. The old "Metal Blocks" were steel all along and are
now named that way, and there are new small, medium and large iron blocks next to them.
- The 5-axis mill takes iron blocks as well as steel. Each part says which metal it is cut from; a
block of the wrong metal shows WRONG BLOCK. No part is cut from iron yet.
- Steel screws: one small steel block in the 5-axis mill gives 64 of them.
- The 5-axis mill now hands out the full batch a part promises instead of one piece at a time, and
waits when the batch would not fit in the output slot.
- The metal printer is gone, and iron powder with it. The workbench and the 5-axis mill already
covered what it made; the mill keeps its cabinet. A printer placed in an old world disappears.
- Iron gears now come from the hammer (an iron plate and the hammer, one gear) or from the
5-axis mill (a small iron block, two gears) — the first part cut from iron.
- The `c:plates` and `c:rods` tags load again: they listed their sub-tags without the `#`.
- The charcoal generator has a new recipe: a brick furnace around an industrial crankshaft, a
steel electric motor and an electric box, with its roof, grate and a bucket. It needs the hammer
in the workbench's tool slot.
