What's new

0.1.0 - First release
Requires NeoForge 1.21.1. No other dependencies.

MARBLE

- 12 varieties, each a distinct rock: Carrara, White & Gold, Grey, Blue & Gold,
Violet, Black & Gold, Pink, Travertine, Honey Onyx, Brown, Red Breccia,
  Green Breccia.
- 8 forms of each: block, slab, stairs, wall, pressure plate, button, fluted
pillar and tumbled marble. 96 blocks in all.
- Veins run from block to block. A wall reads as one slab of stone instead of a
repeated tile, and the vein still runs through the corner of a staircase.
- Lay a pillar on its side and the flutes and veins follow the shaft.
- Everything cuts on a vanilla stonecutter with no waste.

WORLD GENERATION

- Quarries by biome: pink in cherry groves, Carrara in mountains, travertine in
deserts. Grey is the common one, so you can build without crossing the map.
- Deposits only replace stone and dirt, so the terrain carves them. They look
  found, not placed.
- Rarity, size and biomes are one JSON file per marble.

THE CHAIN

- Marble does not drop itself: a pickaxe yields crushed marble, Silk Touch
  excepted.
- The Marble Tumbler turns crushed marble into tumbled marble, which places in
  quarter-block layers.
- Nothing runs backwards. To get a clean block again, you cut one.

PETROL SAW

- Steel and diamond blades, crafted separately. Diamond: 4x the life, 2x the
  cutting speed.
- Water-fed. Hook the hose to a Water Tank and stay within ten blocks; beyond
that it snaps and the saw yields rubble instead of clean blocks.
- Right-click for the dashboard: water, fuel, ignition. Left-click revs the
blade instead of swinging at things.

JACKHAMMER

- Digs 3x3, with an outline showing which blocks will go.
- The bit overheats after 108 blocks and drops back to a single block for about
  five seconds.
- Bits are crafted separately: when one dies you keep the hammer.

Both machines run on a jerrycan or a lava bucket. Jerrycans stack.

NOTES

- Server-friendly: the blocks are ordinary stone to the server. The vein work is
client-side, no block entities, nothing extra on the wire.
- English and French.
