More possibilities for enchantments, more reasons to use familiar items!

More Uses for Enchantments is a Minecraft Forge mod that expands the vanilla enchantment system by introducing new enchantments and giving existing enchantments additional uses.

The goal is to make equipment, blocks, and gameplay mechanics more useful while preserving the familiar Minecraft experience.

Rather than simply adding stronger equipment or excessive damage bonuses, this mod focuses on meaningful improvements and new ways to use existing items.

✨ New Enchantments

Creeper Explosion Interruption

• Available for melee weapons and tools.

• Fully charged melee attacks can reset a Creeper's explosion countdown.

• Creepers can still explode afterward.

• Does not reduce explosion damage or prevent block destruction.

Firework Damage Boost

• Available for crossbows.

• Increases firework explosion damage by 50%.

• Only affects fireworks fired from the enchanted crossbow.

• Incompatible with Multishot.

Poison Protection

A chestplate enchantment with two levels.

• Level I: Poison cannot reduce health below 1 heart.

• Level II: Poison cannot reduce health below 1.5 hearts.

Poison still lasts its normal duration, and other damage sources can still kill the player.

Wither Protection

A leggings enchantment with three levels.

• Level I: Increases the interval between Wither damage ticks by 20%.

• Level II: Increases the interval by 30%.

• Level III: Increases the interval by 50%.

The Wither effect still lasts its normal duration and remains dangerous.

🔥 Enchanted Furnaces

Vanilla furnaces can now benefit from two existing enchantments!

Efficiency

• Increases smelting speed by 10% per level.

• Maximum bonus: 50% at Efficiency V.

Unbreaking

• Increases fuel burn duration by 20% per level.

• Maximum bonus: 60% at Unbreaking III.

Both enchantments can be applied to the same furnace.

Enchanted furnaces retain their enchantments when placed, mined, and placed again. They also feature a visual enchantment effect, making them easier to distinguish from regular furnaces.

👢 Expanded Feather Falling

Feather Falling now offers additional functionality.

Powder Snow Walking

Any boots enchanted with Feather Falling allow players to stand on powder snow, just like vanilla leather boots.

Special Leather Boots Ability

Leather boots with Feather Falling II or higher limit ordinary fall damage to a maximum of 5 hearts.

This makes leather boots especially useful for building, exploration, and working at great heights.

This ability does not prevent death from fall damage and does not affect unrelated damage types.
