Description
More Mouse Tweaks: Unfabricated
MC 1.20.1 // Forge | MC 1.12.2 // Cleanroom
Do you like hacks? We all do. And apparently, according to DonutSMP
, this mod (or Mouse Tweaks in general) is one. Don't quote me on that, though. I haven't played in ages and probably never will again.
instructions
- ALT + LMB — Drop slots. Equivalent to
CTRL + Q, but works while dragging too.
- CTRL + LMB — Move matching stacks. The equivalent of
SHIFT + DOUBLE LMB, including drag support. Item data can be ignored on a per-tag basis.
- CTRL + ALT + LMB — Drop matching stacks. Quickly get rid of every matching stack at once. Very useful for cleaning up after big farms. Or for being a terrible friend.
- Scroll through pages. Navigate recipe book pages, recipe book tabs, and creative inventory tabs with the scroll wheel.
- RMB — Quick-craft and quick-trade. Hold
SHIFTfor bulk crafting or trading, with configurable crafting overflow behavior.
- Q — Quick-craft. Use the drop key to trigger quick crafting without the usual amount of clicking.
Some features are Forge 1.20.1 only. The Cleanroom 1.12.2 version is a smaller implementation and doesn't include quick crafting, quick trading, or recipe book scrolling.
why?
Looting is just so much better with this. Got a huge farm producing more items than your inventory can handle? Need to dump a ridiculous amount of loot quickly? Or perhaps your friend has items that would look much better at the bottom of a lava pool as quick as possible?
Yeah. That's what this is for.
what changed
- Rewritten, not directly ported. Forge uses event-driven input handling instead of hooking into Mouse Tweaks' internals.
- Quick crafting and trading. Bulk crafting, quick trading, and recipe book scrolling are available on Forge 1.20.1.
- Better scrolling. Navigate recipe book tabs and creative inventory tabs with the scroll wheel.
- No artificial delays. Clicks execute synchronously in the same tick.
- Cleanroom support. A smaller 1.12.2 implementation with drag tweaks and creative tab scrolling.
configuration
Forge uses a JSON config at config/moremousetweaks.json, with an in-game settings screen. Cleanroom uses Forge's built-in config GUI.
techy stuff
Both versions are client-side. The Cleanroom version omits quick crafting, trading, and recipe book scrolling due to 1.12.2 limitations.
Disclaimer: I haven't tested every possible mod combination yet. Found an incompatibility? Please leave a comment with the details so I can look into it.
(Also, the thumbnail is a joke. I've never interacted with the dev, and they're probably very nice. No hate intended!)
