Notes:

 

-Okay here's the deal with Java compatibility. The latest version of Forge for 1.6.4 (1.6.4 - 9.11.1.1345) available HERE is compatible with Java 8, thus making all mods loaded using this version compatible with Java 8. I have tested and confirmed this personally. HOWEVER, if you are using a version that is below that version, such as (1.6.4-  9.11.1.965), then Minecraft Forge and the mods loaded will ONLY work with Java 7 and below.
